Widen Your Arc: For Solid Shots & More Distance
In this video, I want o give you an image to help widen your arc. A wider arc will give you more solid shots and increase your distance.
To do this, think about your arms like spokes on a bicycle wheel. The spokes on a wheel maintain the same length and this is what creates the perfect circle of a wheel. When they stay the same length you get the same circle a 100 percent of the time. Well, I want you to think of your arms like this also.
If your arms remain the same length throughout your golf swing then you will too maintain the same swing arc. You only have one maximum swing arc, and if you do this then you will get the same pure strikes every time. If you have a chicken wing and want to get rid of it, then this is the drill you want to be doing all of the time.
Keep your arms extend like I am doing in this tip and you will start maximizing your swing arc and getting great results. The wider your arc, then the faster your golf club will move. This is one of the most important drills all amateurs should be doing on a regular basis and then they will gain more distance and accuracy. Try this the next time you are out at the golf course.
