Imperial Practitioner makes NIlfgaard, a strong Gwent faction, even stronger.The card makes it so that gold removal spells and tutors become difficult to use unless Imperial Practitioner is dealt with or played around. If you play round Imperial Practitioner, then it serves as a 5 for 5 assimilate engine, which is still great. The card is truly wonderful.
Nilfgaard, if you want to play them, should be removal focused this patch. I added in Vilgafortz to help Vincent and YenVo. It’s been effective!
