Stop Skulling And Chunking Chips – Shawn Cox

You’ve likely been told that in order to make good contact on shots around the green, you should put your weight onto your front leg, but most golfers do this incorrectly. Instead of moving your lead hip forward to accomplish that feeling, which creates a poor spine angle, think about your nose as the driver of your weight.

Depending on the trajectory of the shot you’re trying to play, your nose, and thus your spine, can dictate ball position and where your weight is so that you create the proper angle of attack to make good, solid contact.
