More Distance For Seniors

You’re a little older and don’t quite move like you used to but you still have that competitive spirit. So how do you squeeze out those extra few yards?

Getting an extra few yards out of your drives may be the simplest adjustment. We’re going to start with posture. If we make a simple adjustment in our posture, we may find we’re going to get a little bit more rotation in our backswing. This is going to lead to more power being stored. And a little more energy delivered into the ball.

But we also have to make sure that we don’t spend that energy before the clubhead gets to the ball. Let’s slow that backswing down so we can make a smooth transition at the top. This allows us to complete our backswing and feed that stored energy into the back of the ball.
