Goalkeeper Training: Improving Reactions, Diving & Recovery Saves – Young Goalie Shot-Stopping



In this garden goalkeeper training session we focussed on diving, reactions, recovery saves and shot-stopping.

Whilst in self-isolation during this pandemic, we are training 2 or 3 times per week at home in the garden. This session we worked on improving my reactions to move to the ball quicker, my diving technique and recovery saves. We finished off the session with some shot-stopping utilising the rebound net, in order to create a moving ball before the strike.
