It’s amazing how different songs or bands can take your minds eye right back to the front row of a place and time so long ago. The Dead are one of those bands that can teleport me right back cloudy high school parties while the parents are away, and tie dyed tapestries collecting black light, and long drives just to jam. I’d say those were the days…but really, today the day!
In this disc dyeing tutorial I cover tie dye backgrounds, multi-color stenciling, free hand brushwork, and spin dyeing. Please, feel free to hit us up if you’re left with any questions after watching. We love helping others get started in the dyeing game. Hope you enjoy!
We’ve had a somewhat surprising number of requests to make some of these discs for other people come in, which it pretty cool and very flattering. Hit us up at differenceisdoingit@gmail.com or of Facebook if you’re interested in a custom hand drawn or dyed disc, we’ll work something out.
As always, if the good times grabbed you hit those Like and Subscribe buttons…maybe even that Bell. We’ll keep drumming up more.
Keep Doing It!
