So driving ranges in Alaska finally opened (update – it snowed again…) and I was able to get out and hit off some grass and grind away on some new swing changes outside. Driving range practice can be beneficial in many ways if you don’t fall into the trap of hitting buckets and buckets without any real purpose. Practice with purpose – play games on the range – play your friends – make it like real golf as much as you can. This is truly the only way to get the most out of range sessions. In this range video, I am hitting the ball terribly. It’s a mixture of working on new moves in the swing and getting used to taking divots instead of hitting off mats, but it’s all necessary as I come into the new season. Let me know in the comments what works for you on the range!
