I was contacted by a viewer about potentially detailing his prized Golf R. I jumped at the opportunity because I have a real soft spot for these amazing cars. This one is exceptionally gorgeous in the deep Lapiz blue. I performed a full exterior detail over the course of three days and the results were highly satisfying. I ran into some issues with a very finicky PPF clear bra. No matter what spray I used on the film, it would cloud up and I was forced to polish the “stain” out. Other than that, it went really well. The owner of this car takes great care of the car, but he wanted me to take it to the next level. Judging from his reaction, I was successful.
