One Thing Holding Back Beginners From Maximum Distance in Disc Golf | Disc Golf Tips and Tutorials

If you’re like me, you hear the phrase: “Drive for show, putt for dough” often. You might even know that it’s true…because it is. But if you’re REALLY like me, you’d still like to crush some distance too though. When we get fixated on reaching maximum distance with our discs we try harder and harder, while throwing harder and harder. Well in today’s video I want to take just a few minutes to talk about an important lesson I’ve learned recently that has helped unlock a huge amount of distance in what feels like an unconventional way compared to normal sports.

This is much easier to talk about than put into practice, so understand it will take time. I still walk up to the tee box after watching someone crush it, and forget all of this and proceed to launch it into the ground. But I hope this video will help most beginners gain the right frame of mind for approaching distance. Who knows, maybe it’ll help some experienced players too!
