Master the Short Game: One arm pitching/chipping drill

Learning to chip and pitch is a great way to discover proper short game technique. When we have two hands on the club we can use the improper movements and create what might look like nice short game shots, but they will lack consistency and won’t travel well to other surfaces.

By learning to chip and pitch with one arm you’re forcing your mechanics into better positions. This takes patience, but the payoff is massive. With one hand on the club it forces you to engage the body and bigger muscles properly to generate solid shots.
