Golf Tips: Off-Season Lesson #6 – Chipping Trajectory with Eric Drane, PGA

There are a few ways in which you can control the trajectory on your chip shots.

Ball Position
The closer you stand to the ball the lower trajectory & vice versa
The farther you play the ball forward the higher the trajectory & vice versa

Follow Thru

How we finish our chip shots plays a roll in the trajectory. Straight on finish = lower trajectory & a more rounded finish = higher trajectory

Clubface
Opening & closing the clubface is an effective way to control trajectory & roll out. However, there are a lot of golfers that are not comfortable doing this. Music: www.bensound.com
