Golf Lessons with Derek Hooper – Every golfer I have ever meet wants to hit longer golf shots. There is no doubt that hitting the ball farther allows you to hit shorter approach shots and thus increases your opportunity to get the ball close to the hole. But too many players go about adding distance all wrong.
There are a few key parameters that if optimized will produce longer shots. Although club head speed can be a part of the solution it is not the only way to hit the ball longer. So if you are focusing only on adding club head speed you may not be hitting the ball as far as you possible.
In this video I explain a few critical keys that you need to follow in order to maximize how far you can hit the ball.
