GOLF- HOW TO TILT YOUR SHOULDERS IN THE GOLF SWING

SHOULDER PLANE/TILTS- working the trail shoulder underneath the chin. Most golfers are too active with their shoulders early on in the downswing, leading to the trail side getting too high through impact instead of working underneath the lead side. When the shoulders spin out too early the shoulders have a tendency to pull the shaft with it and the golf club shallowing becomes unattainable. The misconception is when the shoulders work on a tilted axis the hands will work along the ball to target line, instead of working round on the clubs arc. The club face will work around the swing arc with minimal face rotation despite the shoulders working on a steeper plane. If the hips rotate on a slight incline, the left hip higher than the right, the head remains behind the ball. A key thing to remember is if the hips rotate the shoulders are pulled into the follow through by the hips.
