Billionaire Charles Cohen built 39 acres of golf greens and holes in his own backyard with the help of golf course architect Michael Lehrer. The yard features 10 pins, 70 target combinations, 3 sand traps, tee markers, ball washer, one green that covers 11,000 square feet of artificial turf, man-made waterfalls, and 7 tee boxes. Lehrer uses 180 tons of crushed rock to shape the green then 10 tons of stone dust to smooth the surface. All told, the course cost Cohen between $100,000 – $200,000.
