Okay. So are hybrid golf clubs more forgiving? Well, let’s talk about the hybrid clubs. The answer in short term is yes, there’s so many benefits for the hybrid clubs. The first of all is the actual design of the club, we got a nice deep cavity, we got the weight around the perimeter and we got a camber sole here. And those factors are almost making that shot so much easier to play because of the design of the golf club. So the first thing is the design of the golf club is so, so much better. You’ve also got a motive of inertia on the club face. So if you do hit the ball off center – I’m not going to say the golf shot it’s going to go perfectly, but they’ll go a lot straighter and a lot higher than what they would have done, had you not had that forgiveness there; so keep that in mind.
You’ve also got this gear effects and the gear effect is caused by a slight bulge on the club face very similar to fairway woods. And what it means and on conventional golf on a club where just don’t have that a little of bit of bulge, if a ball came off the tow, it would send the ball predominantly to the right hand side. The gear effect, would basically hit the tow and have a counter clockwise production on the shot, so that would actually produce that sort of spin, and the heel instead of going where you would expect it to go left, would actually bring the ball back; so you got two also forgiveness there, working in your favor.
So remember hybrid are they more forgiving? Yes they are. And also you got also – you’ve got to also remember is that, golf clubs on the hybrids are much longer than their counterparts; the irons, so a 6 hybrid is replacing the six iron, is longer so what does that do; it hits the ball further. The hybrids also have a kick point much lower down, and what that means is that you can actually get into that is the area here, this shot here will kick the club head through. So it’s actually helping the ball to get up in the air and that’s why it’s very, very important that impact that you focus on hitting from here down – hit down and through just like you would do one of your mid irons.
So are hybrids more forgiving? Yes, for the reasons that we’ve said. So it would make sense to get one or even two high hybrids in your golf bags, and if you’re struggling to what sort of selection, well go to the Thomas Golf website, have a look at their range of hybrids because it really is worth having to look at, some of the [Inaudible] [0:02:21] technology is well worth having a look at, especially with the actual lines in the top of how to line that club face up. So check that out, but believe me, hybrids are here to stay and they’re definitely more forgiving.
