For years people have been confused as to whether the lead wrist position at the top should be flat, cupped or bowed. With confusion comes doubt. So make sure you try this drill so you can see for yourself the perfect top of the backswing position.
The position I promote requires you to do a neutral grip. If you haven’t seen my tip on it please go here:
With the neutral grip in place you will clearly see the wrist position I want at the top of the backswing. This is a square position with the leading edge of the clubface in line with the lead forearm. From here, you do not need any other flaws or compensations in your swing to hit the ball long and straight.
So if you want to set the perfect top of the backswing wrist position learn the neutral grip first then follow the steps in this tip.
