Simplified Setup:
A. Left shoulder UP and slightly BEHIND left ear (ready left shoulder to rotate behind left ear).
B. Straight left side torso.
C. Right hand snuff box almost directly on top of grip just slightly behind (for short irons snuff box on top for sweeps snuff box slightly behind). Select RIGHT WRIST COCK AT ADDRESS and maintain or increase during swing.
C.1. Right hand wrist cocked up slightly, left hand snuff box just right of grip.
C.2. Shots Wiping Right – check right wrist is cocked slightly up at setup.
C.3. Shots Weak Straight – check right wrist is not cocked too much at setup.
D. Left thigh at 11 o’clock, left knee flexed, left hip back and folded (really load the left thigh with pressure).
d. Short Game Only: Set right thigh at 11 o’clock to join left leg, right knee flexed close to left knee, right hip back and folded.
E. Sternum almost directly above left knee (sternum in front of tailbone closer to target), sternum is slightly closer to the target line but slightly further from target (left thigh must be at 11 o’clock, sternum just behind left knee).
e. Short Game Only: Sternum is between left and right knee which are close together almost directly above both.
F. Left hand snuffbox (marked as dot with sharpie) just right of center of grip making grip strong.
G. Small silhouette, left side with less surface area. Think setup THIN left side, tall with straight side torsos, if you make a silhouette of left side it would be thin with minimal surface area.
H. Backswing, ‘Close The THIN Door’ Turn left shoulder and left knee out towards the target line, imagine left shoulder as top of door and left knee as bottom of door. TURN sternum away from left knee creating distance from left knee.
I. Downswing, maintain or increase right wrist cock on downswing; ROTATE left shoulder behind left ear; ROTATE belly to face the target with hands out in front of belly and also closer to target then the belly just before impact. ‘Open The THICC Door’ with a straight left side torso turn the chest to face the target and EXPAND the left side, left hip pivoting away from left shoulder to create a large silhouette. MOVE the sternum forwards over the left knee (see disc golf throws where sternum goes over left knee on forehand).
i.1. Left knee feels like it is turning to face target before impact, keep the left hip folded and deep.
i.2. Right inner quad visible to the target before impact.
J. Open Hips and Chest at Impact – ROTATE BELLY TO FACE THE TARGET WITH HANDS IN FRONT OF BELLY CLOSER TO TARGET THAN BELLY JUST BEFORE IMPACT, SEE CAMERON CHAMP – this stops the flip and especially important with irons.
*****
Shot Dispersion Loss Tendency: side torsos start to bend rather than setup straight. To fix, on setup ensure side torsos are straight, keep angles in posture through the swing.
Shots Wiping Right: check right wrist is cocked slightly up at setup.
Shots Weak Straight: check right wrist is not cocked too much at setup.
Power 1 (left shoulder): Ensure left shoulder is up and slightly behind left ear WITH straight side torsos – ready the left shoulder to rotate behind the left ear on downswing.
Power 2 (straight left side torso on backswing): Ensure that the left side torso is straight on backswing. This will make the left side angles tighten on backswing which increases power.
Power 3 (right wrist): Ensure the right wrist is cocked up slightly with the snuff box is almost above the top of the grip but is just slightly behind the grip. Turn thru the downswing while maintaining slight right wrist cock thru impact. Without right wrist slightly cocked, the body has trouble staying down and rotating thru impact.
Power 4 (open body through impact): Ensure belly rotates to face the target with hands in front of belly and closer to the target than the belly just before impact, this will open the chest and hips before impact. See Cameron Champ hands at impact position.

Short Game Notes:
Putting Key (SC Phantom X 12, 31″): Turn front belly at an angle that feels 45 but is perpendicular to shaft. Center putter butt end with belly button. Match shaft and thigh angle. Right wrist cocked up slightly. Straight side torsos.
Short Game: same as long game, maintain right wrist cock up slightly throughout short game swings including bunkers.
Bunker: same as short game listed in full swing but open clubface for bounce and try to hit the shot fat (behind the ball).
