Oftentimes we miss our putts because we don’t know where to aim. When you’re behind the hole, take into consideration what’s happening in the last five feet or so of the putt. You’ll see what the slope looks like around the hole. Then, walk to the side and get underneath the hole below the slope. Finally, come back around to the ball and put it all together. See what the first 10 feet are doing and line up your ball with the spot you believe you need to roll the ball on based on the information you gained. Take your practice strokes feeling the speed of the putt, take one last look down that line, and make a confident stroke.
