Beginner’s Guide to Buying Golf Clubs

In this episode of the Beginner’s Guide to Buying Golf Clubs Manny and I discuss one of the most versatile clubs you should add to your bag as a beginner golfer. When just starting out in golf it can be difficult for most people to hit their long Irons well, or be consistent off the Tee. Finding the Fairway can be a considerable challenge, and quite a few of your approaches intro Greens will be quite long.
There is an answer for all of these woes though. It’s the Hybrid golf club. Much easier to hit off the Tee than a Driver or Fairway Wood. Far easier to hit than a Long Iron with much more Forgiveness. Great for long approaches into Greens because they tend to fly higher. Great out of almost any lie because the compact but solid head can get through most rough. My first season playing golf the 3 Hybrid was the longest club in my bag. You would assume that I would have had a difficult time keeping up with my playing partners but that really wasn’t the case. Hybrids are so easy to hit that they minimize your errors which can definitely help keep your scores down.
