As a mid-handicapper, I spend a fair amount of time at my local golf range working on my game. What drives me nuts is the fact that the range is loaded with 3.5 inch tees that recreational golfers are hitting off of. It’s far too long a tee, and these unsuspecting high-handicappers are ingraining a swing that they’ll never use on a course. Tee your ball up so that just over half of it peeks out from behind the driver face. Period.
