Stop leading with lower body: golf swing

https://simplegolf.org/freeworkshop/ In this video I discuss how we shouldn’t be trying to lead the golf swing with the lower body.

If you are still trying to somehow lead the downswing with your lower body you getting your golf club off plane. The quick move is throwing you club over the top that is leading to inconsistency and loss of distance.

You need to unify your swing into a one piece downswing that works together with you shoulders, arms and hips. Its what we call a “1 piece downswing” that matches the one piece takeaway. When you employ the one piece downswing the leading with the lower body is not important.

In the one piece downswing the head controls the leading with the lower body by having the arms drop on a centered axis and move down together as the hips release.
