STACK & TILT | 10 WORDS | HANDS IN

The Stack & Tilt 10 Word Template gives a really SIMPLE description of some of golf’s more complex movements to help the beginning golfer (and the more experienced golfer) to grasp the concepts of the basic movements of the swing quickly, lower the barrier to entry, and make the game easier to learn and understand for everyone.

The Stack and Tilt 10 Words are WEIGHT FORWARD, SHOULDER DOWN, HANDS IN, ARMS STRAIGHT, and TUCK HIPS.

Over this series I will be explaining each of these 10 WORDS and helping add some detail to the basic template.

This week is HANDS IN. HANDS IN is describing how we play golf on a tilted angle and there is a need for the HANDS and the CLUB to move AROUND the golfer (or “inwards”) to add depth to the swing and create potential power, as well as enable golfers to DRAW the ball, rather than SLICE!

The video includes a drill you can do to help you create more depth with your hands in the swing.
