SERVE TIP: How To Hit More Powerful Serves



Jeff Salzenstein, Former top 100 ATP Player and USTA High-Performance Coach, shares a unique serve tip, called the 90/90, to teach you how to hit more powerful serves.

In this video lesson, he also reveals a common mistake made by many players that’s causing them to lose power and consistency on their serve.

Jeff recommends to get your hand closer to the head, and create a 90 degree angle between your upper and lower arm.

You’ve got to maintain this position in the racquet drop as you lead with the elbow. Finally, Jeff encourages you to shoot videos of your serve from the side. Hence, you can further assess if you need to change your technique, and add this tip to your tennis arsenal for hitting faster serves.
