Liam is a crazy guy and his channel is just loaded with fun and hilarity.
There is a playa on there called OMP. They call him Old Man Pat but we all know OMP really means Original Master Playa – this 21 year old with 57 years experience on the earth is the epitome of The Way of the Playa or otherwise known as the Way of the Pat.
He jams his game, he plans his way around the course and he rarely makes doubles. He’s comfortable in his skin, plays from the right tees and just makes sure he is always in a position to play decent golf. You can learn a lot from him in managing a golf course and learning to play to your strengths and within yourself.
He shows us the Traffic Light System which is something we have not discussed much on the channel in real terms. He shows us that there are Green Light pins where you are able to just go right at the hole, while an Amber Light is touch and go and you need to just err on the side of caution.
The Red Light pins are ones you cannot go for in your wildest dreams. In these situations, like in the Way of the Playa, you must play to a decent miss. You must leave a nice chip with the maximum amount of green to work with.
I love OMP and I hope we can play together one day in a fourball with Liam Harrison and Didi!
