Mike Shannon – SUPER putting lesson.wmv

I couldn’t be more impressed with Mike Shannon. This is one of the best putting lessons I have ever seen. If you watch the elements Mike is highlighting in this putting lesson, you’ll see the elements of an on plane stroke. Like the guy taking the lesson, I’ve been chasing the ball down the line with my club after impact, losing connection of my left elbow with my body. Not surprisingly, I did this for years in my full swing leading to an unusually high and incorrect finish. I finally understand what it means to stay on plane. I really liked his description of getting the forearms and shaft on the same plane to reduce the number of planes from 3 to 2 and to reduce the number of moving parts in the stroke. AWESOME. I’d love to get to Sea Island and see Mike in person.
