Inbee Park putting tips: Aim at a target

Struggling with the flat stick? 7 time Major champion Inbee Park is here to help…

Inbee Park is a professional golfer who plays on the LPGA tour.

Since her rookie year in 2007 Inbee has won 18 times on tour including seven Major titles.

With 87 top 10s Inbee has had a very impressive career to date and is currently ranked as the 10th best player in the world. Her most recent victory came at the 2017 HSBC Championship.

In 2016 Inbee won the Gold medal at the Olympic games in Brazil with a five shot victory over Lydia Ko.

We met Inbee at the Scottish Open in July to ask her to give us some putting tips.

When I set the target I try to set it at the hole, not between the hole and the ball.

Some golfers like to pick out a target juts in front of the ball and try and putt over it.

What I do is find a spot at the hole, whether that be left or right edge or directly behind if it’s a straight putt, and make sure I’m aiming directly at my intended point.
