In this tip, I’m going to show you how to take a divot. This is not about hitting down on the ball or leaning the shaft forward. In no way do I want you doing that. Instead, there’s a different way. It’s simple and will allow you start taking perfect divots in minutes.

So many people have tried to take divots in the past by hitting down on the ball or hitting ahead of the ball. If this actually worked, you wouldn’t be here watching this tip. So it’s obviously not working which means it’s time to try something different.

First, we’re going to understand why you even take a divot. If you don’t know this, you will never get it. So I’ll explain it so you finally understand why you take a divot.
