Each Letter Represents a face of the cube as follows:
F – Forward (Facing you)
B – Back (Away from you)
U – Up (Top of cube)
D – Down (Bottom of cube)
R – Right (Right Side)
L – Left (Left Side)
If the letter is written alone it means spin that face clockwise.
If the letter has a ‘ (Example D’) it means spin it counter clockwise.
If the letter has a number 2 after it, it means do that move 2 times.
