How to Hit Your Mid & Long Irons Higher?

Maria explains that the first thing you should do is to have your clubs checked by a certified club fitter, because having a different kick-point in your shaft, or different flex could make all the difference.

Maria then goes on to suggest checking on 3 things:

– Ball Position – make sure that you have the ball a little bit more forward in your stance (but not too far forward).

– Weight Distribution – make sure that you keep your body center and head slightly behind the ball.

– Swing Plane – A flat swing plane will cause you to hit the ball lower, so get your arms up a little bit higher in the backswing so you are not coming in to flat into the shot.
