Not only do you have to understand why you need to do this and how it’s going to get you more distance you need to get used to new feelings associated with it.
Too many people give up after only a few balls or trying something new. You can’t think like this. Whether is takes you hitting a few balls or a few hundred you need to keep doing it until you get used to it.
If your goal is how to get more distance then sticking with it will get you there but like I said, it is new and different so just try it either in practice swings or at the range. Once you do, you will see that you will hit the ball longer than ever so you can take it to the course and lower your scores.
