Cole asks Maria Palozola, of how high he should tee the ball up when hitting irons. Maria recommends teeing the ball up just enough to get the ball off the ground and to provide you with a little bit of an advantage.
You always want to hit down on the ball when hitting irons to hit an iron solid. By teeing the ball too high you you risk going underneath it and hitting it higher on the club face which can result in a pop-up or a weak high ball flight that comes up well short of your target.
