SAC Elite Golf PGA Professional Dave Boivin shows you a drill to improve your putting confidence and lower your score.
A great drill to help build confidence can be set up on a practice green using a few tees and a handful of golf balls. To begin, space a tee at 3 feet, 4 feet and 5 feet from the hole. Then do the same with three more rows of tees 90 degrees from each other so that you end up with a 10 foot cross that intersects the center of the hole. Place a golf ball just to the side of each tee and begin working around the hole, practicing your putts from each distance. The characteristics of the green should allow you to adjust your stroke to accommodate both distance and the break of the green.
