Golf tip: Control the loft of your IRONS – This is why you can PUNCH DOWN onto the golf ball

Why can you strike down on the golf ball with an iron and up with a wood like the driver? The difference is in the neck of the club. The shaft is attached different to the club with an iron. Therefor it is very important to hav your hands ahead of the golf ball on address an impact. If the hands are behind the ball, you add loft to the club. Your 7 iron will become a 9 iron. You will lose distance! In this video Tom explains you all about this! Enjoy!
