BACKSWING SHOULDER PLANE (Turn or Tilt?)

Golf Backswing Shoulder Plane

Body Swing free samples here:

In this backswing tip, I am talking about the plane of your shoulder. In order to create a rotational golf swing it would make sense that you need to rotate your shoulders in a circular motion.

So many people I see tilt their shoulders too much as the take the club back. This is from being told to either tilt the forward shoulder down going back or from keeping their head too still.

Although this may feel good your whole swing is moving sideways instead of rotational. This sideways up and down move causes inconsistencies as well as causing pain in your lower back.

Watch this backswing tip and do it a few times in practice swings. Keep the mental image I give you into the future. If so, you will turn your shoulders back on the right plane creating a rotational swing.
