Many first time golfers and veterans seeking to refine their skills are in constant search of improving the inside path of their drives.

While millions of articles and drills have been compiled about golf driving tips, the strategies explained in today’s content go beyond the conventional wisdom most golfers seek to instruct.

Most novice players tend to slice their golf swing when looking to improve their inside path. How to avoid a slice has become one of the most searched topics about golf on the internet, but golfers should be looking for drills on building their driving path inside instead.

This type of golf swing, often referred to as inside inside, sees the path move to the inside of the target line. This type of driving method hits the golf ball in a straight line that has little to no curvature in flight.

It’s common for novice golfers to come over the top when attempting an inside golf drive, which would result in a shot going outside to the inside, typically creating a slice spin as a result.

Starting the downswing with our lower body will allow the club to drop on an inside path. Swinging down and right rather than over the top will keep the drive on the inside.

Golfers should also align their feet and shoulders slightly right with their target line (if you’re right handed, if left simply adjust).

This will create a more comfortable setup to swing from the inside. Ensure that the clubface remains directed at the target, even when aiming your shoulders to the right (or left).

Adjusting the tilt on the upper part of your body slightly away from the target line will assist in shifting weight during the downswing.

The majority of your body weight will shift to the right foot during the backswing. This allows an easier full shoulder turn as a result.

Stop the backswing once the left shoulder rotates beneath your chin.

Improving the inside path of your golf drive will become a vital tool to any golfers game.

The ability to perform this shot in clutch situations will be a game changer on the golf course for novice golfers who seek to constantly improve their games.

Chipping from a Heavy Lie – Golf lesson and golf tips on how to hit a chip shot from the rough, when the ball is sitting down or sitting up on the grass.

► Rough/Heavy Lies Chipping Tips – Video Golf Lesson Summary

When the ball is sitting down on heavy rough try to gauge the conditions of the lie by pressing your club down on the grass near the location of the ball. Of course, take caution in making sure doing so won’t make the ball move at all.

The key to hitting a good chip from the rough is to make sure the club strikes the ball cleanly, with as little grass between the club and the ball.

You can do this by hitting down on the ball by using more wrist hinge action than you would normally. The ball should also be found towards the back of your stance.

Opening the club – by twisting the club – before grabbing it will help keep enough loft of the club even though you are hitting down on the ball.

When the ball is sitting up on the rough instead you will want to approach it differently than the method just explained. Indeed, using the same technique can see your club traveling cleanly under the ball and undershooting dramatically.

In these instances, don’t open the clubface as you did when the ball was sitting down in the rough. And position the ball normally in your stance and not as far back. Finally, don’t use as much wrist movement as you did when the ball was buried in the rough. In essence, be mindful not to see the club traveling under the ball and hitting it with the very top of the clubface.

— Tips on Golf Swing

Golf swing has an important part of a success start and ends in playing golf, although factors

like wind evaluation and putting techniques are also vital to complete golf game.

Ideal stance, posture, grip, and swing motion are the combination of the best golf swings.

Grip tips
To hit the ball at a straight angle needs a good grip to control the clubhead. The overlapping

grip and the interlocking grip are the two main grips.

You need to find a grip that is comfortable in your hand and gives you maximum control of your

clubhead. Never give up to try out different grip and see how they feel and what impact they

make on the ball.

Stance Tips
Keep feet apart. You want to keep the ball from the middle between the legs. This means that the

ball is in the center a little closer to the forefoot.

One leg is slightly bent to help your swing in bulk. Do not bend your legs too much, though. A

good way to present your position is to think the railroad tracks.

Swing tips
There are three basic parts in the golf swing: the takeaway, the backswing, and the downswing.

To execute a proper takeaway, you will want to keep your arms and club straight as you pull

back.

Your shoulders can tilt a bit, but for the most part, your body will remain very still during

the takeaway. As you pull the club back, shift your weight to your back foot.

The backswing is one of the trickiest parts of the shot. As your takeaway angle reaches 45

degrees, you will cock the club over your head.

The downswing should be the reverse of your backswing. You will shift your weight from your back

foot to your front foot as you uncoil the club.
