Anti-Rotation CORE EXERCISES For MORE DISTANCE! – Golf Fitness Tips




Core strength and the ability to resist rotation (also known as anti-rotation) is essential for more distance at the golf course. In this video I will show you three anti rotation core exercises that will help you increase your swing speed while also working on your overall strength and golf fitness.

If you want to learn how to swing faster, first you need to learn how to slow down. Today I will show you three exercises that will allow your body to feel comfortable slowing down and resisting the rotational forces generated during the golf swing (this skill is known as anti-rotation). With time, this will lead to faster swing speeds and more distance at the golf course.

BONUS: Two of the exercises we will look at will also help you work on your pulling and pushing strength.

Exercises and sets (Optional: 30 to 60 second rest in between sets):

1. Paloff Press – 3 sets of 10 repetitions per side
2. Staggered Stance Single Arm Press – 3 sets of 10 repetitions per side
3. Single Arm Bent Over Row – 3 sets of 10 repetitions per side
