Aiken Golf Club was formerly the home of rich Northerners in the early 20th century. Now, it’s the brainchild of Jim McNair, Jr. – who built a course for the public that’s playable, affordable, and adds to the golfing pedigree of the Augusta/Aiken area.
Erik Anders Lang visits the course on Masters week to meet up with Jim and George Bryan, 1/2 of the Bryan Bros which includes PGA Tour winner Wesley Bryan. Jim and George recruit some locals along the way which quickly turns this round into one of the most interesting Random Golf Clubs/Meetups yet.
